On April 4, teachers from different parts of Ukraine came to the National University “Ostroh Academy” to summarize the results of the certified advanced training program “Ukrainian Education in the Conditions of EU Integration”, which was implemented by the Jean Monnet Center of Excellence “Hub of European Solutions”.
The program was solemnly opened by the HEUS project coordinators: Olga Balatska, Tetyana Lotysh and, together with the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Ruslana Kalamazh, presented certificates to the participants for successfully completing the Program.
The program brought together 130 teachers from Kyiv, Rivne, Lviv, Odessa, Kryvyi Rih and many other cities, who for several months got acquainted with European approaches in education, exchanged experience and practical tools for a modern teacher.
On this day, a round table “Ukrainian Education in the Conditions of Integration into the EU” was held, moderated by Tetyana Lotysh.
During the discussion, the participants touched on important topics:
- the role of education in European integration,
- preservation of Ukrainian linguistic and cultural identity,
- challenges of digital transformation.
Many important words were spoken. As Ruslana Kalamazh noted: “We, together with you, must form a new generation of citizens – intellectuals and patriots of our state.”
We thank everyone who was with us. Education is a common path. And we are glad that we are walking it together!
